Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences – Aden participated in the launch ceremony of World Money Week, held on Monday, 20 March 2023, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Mr. Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Maabqi.
The Academy’s participation included the speech delivered by Dr. Salah Shehata, Director General of Supervision at the Central Bank of Egypt, via video conference. The speech addressed the development of youth- and child-friendly banking services, and emphasized the importance of banks investing in electronic financial services. It highlighted that such investment enables youth access to banking services, strengthens financial inclusion in society, and generates higher returns for banks, as electronic services create greater profitability compared to traditional retail banking products.
