Program Mission
The mission of this program is to shape the future of the professional life of our graduates by offering a program that is diverse and vibrant in an inspirational learning environment that embodies internationalization, employability and professionalism in all aspects of its delivery.
Program Objectives
To develop a systematic understanding of relevant knowledge and a critical awareness of current issues at the forefront of project management and their application to all aspects of organizations commissioning, managing or delivering projects.
To enable students to develop high-level knowledge in a range of project-related disciplines that will enable the development of a project management culture.
To enable students to apply project management principles in a strategic and business management context and provide them with an opportunity to focus on aspects of Project Management relevant to their backgrounds, cultures, interests and career aspirations.
To provide successful candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to deal with complex project management issues as practitioners by transferring the concepts and experience gained from the course into workplace situations.
Provide students with critical and evaluative perspectives of the theory and practice of project management and develop their capacity for independent and self-reflective learning, ensuring their future contribution to ethical and sustainable research and development.
Admission and Registration Requirements
To be admitted into the master’s programs in the Department of Administrative Sciences, the applicant must hold:
A bachelor’s degree from one of the following faculties: Commerce and Economics, Administrative, Financial, or Banking Sciences, with at least a “Good” grade.
Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree from any other faculty, provided the applicant successfully completes the remedial courses specified by the Academy.
Or a Higher Diploma from the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial, and Banking Sciences with a minimum GPA of 75%, on the condition that the applicant’s undergraduate grade was not “Pass.”
Study Plan
The Master’s program consists of 30 credit hours, accompanied by intensive research work, as well as participation in a number of specialized workshops, training courses, and academic seminars.
Upon successfully completing the coursework with a cumulative GPA of no less than 75%, the student is eligible to register for the Master’s thesis, which the Academy considers a core requirement for graduation under the thesis track.
The student is also required to publish one scholarly work in a peer-reviewed academic journal within their field of specialization during the study period.
