The Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences – Yemen Branch organized a welcoming event for new Bachelor’s students at the College of Administrative Sciences. The event aimed to introduce students to their new academic environment, study programs, and the opportunities available for learning, personal development, and participation in student activities.
The event began with a welcoming speech by Prof. Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi, Director of the Arab Academy’s Yemen Branch, who welcomed the new students and wished them a successful and distinguished university journey. He emphasized the importance of making the most of university life and developing the knowledge and skills needed to meet labor market requirements.
Dr. Tawfiq Mahdi Barahmah, Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, also delivered an introductory speech highlighting the nature of study at the college and the importance of administrative disciplines in developing qualified professionals. He encouraged students to take advantage of the academic and training opportunities offered by the college.
Dr. Amani Abu Bakr, Head of the Department of Business Administration, spoke about the college’s departments and specializations, providing students with important guidance on academic pathways and study requirements to help them begin their university journey with clarity and confidence.
The program also included an introductory presentation on Bachelor’s programs and study plans, delivered by Eng. Fatima Fouad. She outlined the academic programs, stages of study, study plans, and key information students need to know throughout their university journey.
Members of the Academy’s Entrepreneurship Club also delivered a presentation on student activities and club initiatives. They highlighted programs and events designed to help students develop their skills, foster initiative and innovation, promote entrepreneurship, and strengthen their participation in university life.
At the end of the event, students took an introductory tour of the Academy’s facilities, where they explored classrooms, facilities, and available services, helping them become more familiar with their new university environment.
This event is part of the Arab Academy’s ongoing efforts to provide new students with an organized and enriching start to university life and to promote their integration into academic and student activities from day one.
