His Excellency Prof. Dr. Amin Noman Al-Qudsi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, met in Aden with Prof. Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi, Director of the Yemen Branch of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences, to follow up on the academic and research activities and initiatives implemented by the Academy.

During the meeting, the Minister received a copy of the recommendations and outcomes of the International Conference on Digital Transformation, Innovation and Sustainable Development (DTISD2026), organized by the Academy in partnership with the University of Aden, with technical support from IEEE, in addition to the final report and key outcomes of the Third Human Resources and Training Forum.

The meeting also reviewed preparations underway for the Second Edition of the Arab Academy Award for Scientific Research in Economic, Financial and Banking Sciences – 2026, and its role in supporting researchers and encouraging specialized scholarly research.

The Minister commended the academic quality of the activities and initiatives implemented by the Academy, emphasizing the importance of its role in supporting scientific research and capacity building. He also encouraged researchers and academics to actively participate in the Scientific Research Award.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director of the Academy’s Yemen Branch presented the Academy Shield to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in recognition of his efforts and support for academic and research activities and programs.
