Program Mission
To provide financial institutions and other public and private business organizations with highly qualified graduates who combine academic knowledge with professional expertise.
These graduates will be capable of leading, executing, monitoring, developing, and optimizing financial performance within their organizations—whether they are currently working in financial management or are recent university graduates planning or expected to pursue careers in financial management.
Admission and Registration Requirements
To be admitted into the master’s programs in the Department of Accounting and Finance, the applicant must hold:
Hold a bachelor’s degree with at least a “Good” grade from one of the following faculties: Commerce and Economics, Administrative, Financial, and Banking Sciences, or Administrative Sciences, with completion of remedial courses if required.
Or hold a Higher Diploma from the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial, and Banking Sciences with a minimum GPA of 75%, provided that the applicant’s undergraduate GPA was not “Pass.”
A commitment to abide by the Academy’s current rules, regulations, and instructions throughout the study period.
Study Plan
The Master’s program consists of 30 credit hours, accompanied by intensive research work, in addition to attending a number of specialized workshops, courses, and academic seminars.
After successfully completing the courses with a cumulative GPA of no less than 75%, the student is entitled to register for the Master’s thesis, which the Academy considers a core requirement for graduation under the thesis track.
The student is required to publish one scientific paper in a peer-reviewed academic journal within the field of specialization during the study period.
