His Excellency Mr. Nayef Saleh Al-Bakri, Minister of Youth and Sports, met today at his office in the interim capital, Aden, with Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi, Director of the Yemen Branch of the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial and Banking Sciences. The meeting discussed prospects for joint cooperation and ways to strengthen the partnership between the Ministry and the Academy in several areas of mutual interest.

The meeting explored opportunities for cooperation in training, professional development, capacity building, and the development of administrative and leadership competencies, with the aim of enhancing institutional performance and benefiting from the Academy’s academic and training expertise and resources.

His Excellency Mr. Nayef Saleh Al-Bakri emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with specialized academic institutions and benefiting from their expertise and programs to develop staff capabilities and improve institutional performance. He also commended the academic and training role played by the Academy.

For his part, Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi expressed his appreciation to the Minister for his interest in strengthening cooperation, reaffirming the Academy’s commitment to building effective partnerships with national institutions and leveraging its academic and training expertise to implement high-quality programs and initiatives that address institutional needs and contribute to human capital development.

Both sides agreed to continue coordination, identify priority areas of cooperation, and develop practical frameworks for partnership and the implementation of joint programs during the coming period.

The meeting was attended, on behalf of the Academy, by Prof. Dr. Abdulqader Mohammed Al-Abbadi, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. Representing the Ministry were Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdulrab, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Head of the Technical Office, and Dr. Nadia Abdullah, Undersecretary for the Women’s Sector.
