The Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences – Yemen Branch and the Yemen National Bank signed a cooperation agreement to fund the second edition of the Arab Academy Award for Scientific Research in Economic, Financial and Banking Sciences. The agreement aims to support researchers, encourage scholarly production, and promote applied studies that contribute to addressing economic, financial, and banking issues and advancing sustainable development in Yemen.

Both parties emphasized the importance of partnerships between academic institutions and the banking sector, as well as the role of scientific research in building a knowledge-based economy and developing financial and banking institutions. They also highlighted the importance of encouraging researchers and academics to produce high-value applied research that serves society and the national economy.
