On the sidelines of the preparations for the Arab Summit, scheduled to be held next Saturday in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Dr. Mustafa Hdeib, President of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS), met with Dr. Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq and a Member of the Academy’s Board of Trustees, at the Central Bank’s headquarters.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the Academy’s activities in Iraq and discussed opportunities to strengthen and expand its academic, training, and professional initiatives across the country.

Dr. Hdeib also met with Dr. Ziad Khalaf, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Development Bank and a Member of the Academy’s Board of Trustees, at the Bank’s headquarters in Baghdad. The meeting focused on the Academy’s key activities in Iraq, in addition to briefing the Bank’s leadership on the latest developments at the Academy’s headquarters in Cairo.
