The Arab Academy and Al-Amal Microfinance Bank Explore Opportunities for Strategic Collaboration

Prof. Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi, Director of the Yemen Branch of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS), welcomed Mr. Omar Al-Dhabhani, General Manager of Al-Amal Microfinance Bank, on Wednesday, November 11, 2025, during an official visit aimed at exploring opportunities for collaboration in the areas of training, professional development, and capacity building.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al-Nashmi welcomed the Bank's delegation and presented an overview of the Academy's academic programs, professional training initiatives, and its role in preparing highly qualified national professionals in the fields of management, finance, and banking. He emphasized that the Arab Academy places great importance on building strategic partnerships with leading companies and financial institutions, including Al-Amal Microfinance Bank, to empower young people and equip them with practical skills aligned with the country's development needs.

For his part, Mr. Omar Al-Dhabhani expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to visit the Academy and praised its strong academic reputation and practical approach to education and professional training. He reaffirmed the Bank's commitment to strengthening partnerships with distinguished educational institutions as part of its efforts to support the development of Yemen's financial and banking sector.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to continue coordinating the implementation of specialized training programs for the Bank's employees, with the aim of enhancing institutional capacity and developing administrative, financial, and banking competencies.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Hussein Abu Saba’a, Secretary-General of the Academy's Yemen Branch, representing the Academy, and by Mr. Khaled Al-Haidari, Director of Treasury and Investment; Mr. Waleed Al-Makhlafi, Manager of the Aden Branch; and Mr. Hasban Al-Rasani, Project Officer, representing Al-Amal Microfinance Bank.
