In the French capital, Paris, at the headquarters of Euronext within the Paris Stock Exchange, and in the presence of delegations from fifteen countries, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS), represented by its President, Dr. Mustafa Hdeib, and the International Group for Sustainable Finance (IGSF), represented by its President, Ms. Véronique de la Bachelerie, former Chairwoman of Société Générale. The agreement was also signed in the presence of Mr. Suheil Iskandar, President of the COFICERT Group.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of financial and non-financial compliance certifications to a number of European, Arab, and African banks in recognition of their commitment to international compliance standards.

The event was attended by representatives of the European Commission, the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and the European Union Global Facility on Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (EU Global Facility on AML/CFT). Their participation reflected the growing momentum of cooperation between Europe and the Arab world, built upon a shared commitment to internationally recognized standards of accreditation, governance, and regulatory compliance.

The ceremony underscored the widely recognized principle that financial and non-financial compliance has become a strategic pillar for institutional credibility, sustainable growth, and long-term success. It also marked an important milestone in recognizing organizations that have demonstrated excellence in integrating best practices in financial and non-financial governance while meeting the highest international standards of compliance.
