As part of its commitment to promoting ethical educational practices and strengthening its regional presence, the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS) participated in the forum organized by the Association of Arab Universities in Amman, Jordan, under the theme:

"Arab Universities and International Student Recruitment Agents."

The Academy was represented at this distinguished event by Dr. Rasha Ragheb, First Vice President of the Arab Academy, who participated as a keynote speaker in the panel discussion:

"Building Transparent and Ethical Student Recruitment Systems."

During the session, Dr. Ragheb highlighted the importance of:

• Building trust among students, recruitment agents, and higher education institutions.

• Leveraging artificial intelligence and digital tracking platforms to enhance transparency throughout the student recruitment process.

• Establishing an international code of professional conduct for recruiting international students.

She also noted that approximately 1.5 million Arab students pursued higher education abroad between 2000 and 2011, generating an estimated economic impact of USD 77 billion. This underscores the importance of developing a responsible and ethical student recruitment ecosystem that safeguards students' rights while enhancing the global competitiveness and reputation of Arab universities.

The Arab Academy believes that student recruitment is not merely an administrative process, but a knowledge-driven endeavor that requires a robust governance framework founded on transparency, partnership, and credibility.
