The First Human Resources and Training Forum, organized by the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences under the slogan “Human Capital: New Horizons in Innovation and Competitiveness,” concluded in the capital Aden after two days of activities.

The second day included a seminar titled “The Reality of Human Resources: Challenges and Solutions,” chaired by Dr. Abdulqader Al-Abbadi in the presence of a group of academics and experts.

Dr. Sawsan Al-Shallah presented a working paper on training and development management according to job competencies.

The event, which brought together HR managers from several banks, financial and banking institutions, and academics from various universities, witnessed extensive discussions and valuable contributions from participants, who were given sufficient time to present their views and proposals aimed at developing human resources as the true wealth of any country and the fundamental pillar for institutional development.

Through a video link, the President of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences, Dr. Mostafa Hedeib, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the participants, organizers, and the Academy’s Yemen branch on the success of the first Human Resources and Training Forum under the slogan “Human Capital: New Horizons in Innovation and Competitiveness,” praising the strong attendance and the importance of the presented papers and topics.

He also highlighted the Academy’s establishment and development journey, noting that around 40,000 graduates have completed their studies across the Arab world, and referred to ongoing efforts to partner with leading global institutions, particularly in modern technology fields, including SAS.

The Vice President of the Academy, Dr. Amr El-Nokhba, also congratulated everyone on the success of the forum.

Dr. Murad Al-Nashmi, Deputy Director of the Arab Academy’s Yemen branch, praised the participants’ engagement and the valuable ideas and contributions presented, emphasizing that the forum’s papers provided important foundations for developing human capital as a vital and sustainable resource.

He expressed his sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the forum, including sponsors, professors, deans, speakers, attendees, and the organizing committee.

The event concluded with the honoring of several figures, academics, and supporting entities, followed by group photos of the participants.
