On the morning of Saturday, September 19, 2026, the Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences in Aden held the public defense of a Master’s thesis in Business Administration, submitted in Arabic by researcher Bakeel Ahmed Muqbel Ahmed, entitled:

“The Impact of Knowledge Management Practices on Enhancing Innovative Behavior at Work: A Field Study of a Sample of Employees of Banks Operating in Aden Governorate.”

The thesis examined the impact of knowledge management practices on enhancing innovative behavior among employees in the banking sector. It explored the current state of knowledge management practices in banks operating in Aden Governorate and the extent to which these practices contribute to creating a work environment that supports innovation and the development of work methods.

The researcher delivered an academic presentation outlining the research problem, significance, and objectives, as well as the methodology employed and the key findings and recommendations. This was followed by an academic discussion addressing the theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of the thesis.

The Thesis Examination Committee consisted of Associate Professor Dr. Mayson Ibrahim Ali, Chair and External Examiner; Associate Professor Dr. Tawfiq Mahdi Barahma, Member and Internal Examiner; and Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Haider Shamsan, Member and Supervisor.

The committee commended the academic quality of the thesis, including its treatment of the research topic and analysis of field data. The committee emphasized the study’s significance to the fields of business administration and banking, as well as the potential academic and practical contributions of its findings and recommendations to developing the work environment and promoting innovation within banking institutions.

At the conclusion of the defense session, and following deliberation, the committee decided to accept the thesis and recommend awarding the researcher a Master’s degree in Business Administration, wishing him continued success in his academic and professional career.
