Master’s Thesis Defense on Visionary Leadership and Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Marib
The Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences held a public defense session on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, for the master’s thesis submitted by researcher Mansour Mohammed Ali Al-Ali as part of the Department of Business Administration. The thesis was titled: “The Impact of Visionary Leadership on Achieving Sustainable Entrepreneurship: An Applied Study of Small Enterprises in Marib Governorate.”
The study aimed to examine the impact of visionary leadership on achieving sustainable entrepreneurship in small enterprises in Marib Governorate, amid the expansion of these enterprises and the challenges associated with their sustainability in a changing economic environment.
The researcher adopted the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of 213 respondents working in small enterprises in Marib Governorate. Data were collected through a 45-item questionnaire covering five dimensions, with SPSS used for statistical analysis.
The findings revealed a strong and statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of visionary leadership—vision, values, empowerment, and inspiration—and sustainable entrepreneurship, with a high level of agreement among the study participants.
The study recommended promoting a culture of visionary leadership and sustainable entrepreneurship, providing financial and legal incentives for environmentally friendly enterprises, strengthening local partnerships to support enterprise sustainability and development, and creating investment and employment opportunities that enhance women’s economic participation.
At the conclusion of the session, the Thesis Examination Committee approved the thesis and recommended awarding the researcher a Master’s degree in Business Administration, wishing him continued success in his academic and professional career.
