Master’s Thesis Defense on E-Management and Organizational Excellence in Marib Banks
The Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences held a public defense session on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, for the master’s thesis submitted by researcher Abdullah Ali Mohammed Jalal as part of the Master’s Program in Business Administration. The thesis was titled: “The Impact of E-Management on Achieving Organizational Excellence: A Field Study of Commercial Banks in Marib Governorate.”
The study aimed to examine the impact of e-management, through its dimensions of hardware and equipment, communication networks, software, databases, and human resources, on achieving organizational excellence in the commercial banking sector in Marib Governorate.
The researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical approach, using a questionnaire as the data collection tool. The study covered all employees of commercial banks in Marib Governorate, with a population of 150 male and female employees, while 134 valid responses were obtained for analysis. The data were processed using SPSS and SmartPLS.
The findings revealed a statistically significant impact of e-management on achieving organizational excellence. The levels of both e-management implementation and organizational excellence in the banks under study were also rated very high.
The human resources dimension emerged as the most influential factor in organizational excellence, followed by software and communication networks, while hardware and equipment and databases showed no statistically significant effect. The results also indicated no statistically significant differences in evaluations attributable to demographic variables.
The study recommended adopting a strategy to expand reliance on digital services in commercial banks in Marib Governorate, providing employees with training and developing their skills, as well as upgrading infrastructure, expanding electronic authorities, and automating procedures across bank branches.
The Thesis Examination Committee enriched the session with its academic observations and methodological contributions, praising the importance of the topic and its relevance to the requirements of digital transformation and the development of the banking sector, as well as the researcher’s academic efforts.
At the conclusion of the session, the committee approved the thesis and recommended awarding researcher Abdullah Ali Mohammed Jalal a Master’s degree in Business Administration, subject to incorporating the proposed minor amendments, wishing him continued success in his academic and professional career.
