Arab Academy Undergraduate Students Conduct an Educational Field Visit to the Yemen Company for Flour Mills and Silos in Aden
A group of undergraduate students from the Yemen Branch of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS) conducted an educational field visit to the Yemen Company for Flour Mills and Silos as part of the Academy’s commitment to integrating academic learning with practical experience and enriching students’ knowledge through real-world exposure.
The students were accompanied by Dr. Tawfiq Barahmah, Dean of the College, along with several faculty members. Upon arrival, they were welcomed by the company's management team, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on the company's production processes, storage systems, packaging operations, and quality control procedures.
The visit also included detailed presentations on the administrative planning and organizational practices adopted in managing production, distribution, and quality assurance. In addition, students were introduced to the company's marketing strategies, market expansion initiatives, and brand-building efforts that have strengthened the presence of its products in both the Yemeni market and international markets.
Throughout the visit, the students expressed their appreciation for the valuable practical experience, which provided them with first-hand insight into industrial operations and modern management practices within one of Yemen’s leading companies in the flour milling industry.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Tawfiq Barahmah emphasized that such activities form an integral part of the Academy’s strategy to promote applied learning, develop students’ professional competencies, and strengthen their connection with the labor market. He also expressed his appreciation to the Yemen Company for Flour Mills and Silos for its warm hospitality and valuable cooperation in hosting the Academy’s delegation.
