The Master of Business Administration program was launched in Yemen in 2004, and more than 30 cohorts have graduated from it.
Many of them hold prestigious positions in the private and public sectors as well as in civil society organizations.
Program Mission
The program seeks to meet the needs of local and regional financial and business organizations by producing graduates equipped with both professional and general knowledge and skills.
This is achieved through a supportive learning environment and the provision of human and organizational resources in accordance with standards of quality, scientific research, and social responsibility.
Admission and Registration Requirements
To be admitted into the master’s programs in the Department of Administrative Sciences, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Hold a bachelor’s degree with at least a “Good” grade from one of the following faculties: Commerce and Economics, Administrative, Financial, or Banking Sciences.
Alternatively, applicants with a bachelor’s degree from any other faculty may be accepted, provided they successfully complete the remedial courses specified by the Academy.
Or hold a Higher Diploma from the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial, and Banking Sciences with a minimum average of 75%, provided that the applicant’s bachelor’s degree grade was not “Pass.”
Sign a commitment to abide by the Academy’s current rules, regulations, and instructions throughout the period of study.
Study Plan
The Master’s program consists of 30 credit hours and is accompanied by intensive research work, as well as participation in specialized workshops, training courses, and academic seminars.
After successfully completing the coursework with a cumulative GPA of no less than 75%, the student is eligible to register for the master’s thesis, which the Academy considers a core requirement for graduation under the thesis track.
The student is also required to publish at least one scholarly work in a peer-reviewed academic journal within the field of specialization during the study period.
